In the third quarter of 2025, the fast food and fast casual restaurant apps in Australia showed varied performance metrics on a unified platform. This analysis, derived from Sensor Tower data, highlights the trends in weekly downloads and active users for the top five apps.

KFC - Order On The Go experienced a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, which peaked at around 48K in late July but then saw a decline, closing the quarter at approximately 21K. Active users initially increased, reaching over 1.4M in late July, but then dropped to around 1M by the end of September.

MyMacca's showed a consistent increase in weekly downloads, especially noticeable in early September, peaking at about 44K. The app's active users also grew, starting the quarter with about 2M and ending with over 2.4M.

Hungry Jack’s Deals & Ordering saw weekly downloads stabilize around 20K for most of the quarter. Active users fluctuated, peaking at over 675K in late July before settling around 550K by quarter's end.

Guzman y Gomez (GYG) Mexican maintained steady weekly downloads, averaging around 17K to 18K. The app's active users showed a positive trend, starting at approximately 258K and growing to over 261K by the end of September.

Domino's experienced a stable download rate, averaging around 13K weekly. Active users saw a slight decline from over 323K at the start of the quarter to about 249K by the end.
